Abstract

Objective: This study aimed to describe the implementation of Fiqh learning and teachers’ efforts to develop instructional creativity in improving students’ religious understanding at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tarbiyatul Islamiyah. Method: A qualitative field research approach was employed. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation and analyzed descriptively. Results: The findings showed that Fiqh learning was conducted through planning, implementation, media utilization, and evaluation stages. Teachers enhanced learning creativity by creating a supportive learning environment, conducting reflection, and developing an innovative learning medium called Ular Tangga Fiqih (ULTAFI). Conclusion: Teacher creativity and the use of innovative learning media contributed to creating a more active, engaging, and effective Fiqh learning process.
