Implementasi Media Puzzle dalam Pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Abad 21 (4C)

This study aims to analyze the implementation of puzzle-based learning media in enhancing 21st-century skills (4C: critical thinking, creative thinking, collaboration, and communication) in Islamic Cultural History (Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam) learning at an Islamic elementary school (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah). This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. Primary data were obtained from the school principal, a fourth-grade teacher, and students, while secondary data were collected from SKI teaching modules. The findings indicate that the use of puzzle media creates an active, enjoyable, and interactive learning environment. Students not only understand the material cognitively but also engage in critical, creative, collaborative, and communicative activities through puzzle-solving and group discussions. Therefore, puzzle media is effective in supporting the development of 21st-century skills in SKI learning at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level.
