Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab sebagai Pendukung Kompetensi Pendidikan Agama Islam: Studi Kepustakaan

Objective: This study aims to analyze the role of Arabic language learning and the instructional strategies used to support competencies in Islamic Religious Education. Method: This study employed a qualitative approach using a library research method. Data were collected through literature reviews and document analysis related to Arabic language learning within the Islamic Religious Education curriculum. Results: The findings indicate that Arabic plays a crucial role in Islamic Religious Education as it serves as the primary medium for understanding the Qur’an, Hadith, and other Islamic sources of knowledge. Arabic language learning supports students' competencies in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending Islamic teachings. Effective instructional strategies include the utilization of educational media and technology, the introduction of Arab culture, and the integration of Arabic learning with other Islamic subjects. Conclusion: Arabic language learning is an essential component of the Islamic Religious Education curriculum. The implementation of appropriate learning strategies can enhance students’ Arabic language proficiency and strengthen their understanding of Islamic teachings.
