Plagiarism Prevention Policy
As a form of commitment by Jurnal Humaniora Universal Indonesia (Universal Humanities Journal) to prevent all forms of plagiarism, the journal strictly implements an anti-plagiarism policy. Every submitted manuscript is screened using Turnitin plagiarism detection software and must be accompanied by a Statement of Originality signed by the author(s).
Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are strictly prohibited. This policy is implemented to ensure the originality, integrity, and academic credibility of all published articles. Authors are required to properly quote and cite all sources whenever overlapping or similar text is used.
All submitted manuscripts will be checked by the Editorial Board using Turnitin. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 25% will be rejected immediately without further review.
Prior to publication, authors must provide a written Statement of Originality, confirming that the manuscript is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is free from plagiarism. This statement must be signed by at least one author, who has obtained the consent of all co-authors, where applicable.
The implementation of this policy reflects the journal’s commitment to maintaining high ethical standards in academic publishing and safeguarding the integrity of scholarly work.
