in personal websites, institutional repositories, libraries, or other non-commercial repositories at any time without requiring permission from the journal or the publisher.

Authors of articles published in Jurnal Humaniora Universal Indonesia (Universal Humanities Journal) are entitled to deposit their accepted manuscript or version of record (published paper) in institutional and/or centrally organized repositories and make them publicly accessible immediately upon acceptance and publication, provided that:

Upon acceptance of a manuscript, authors who make their article publicly available must include the following statement:

This article has been accepted for publication in Jurnal Humaniora Universal Indonesia (Universal Humanities Journal).

Authors may also make their final published article publicly available immediately after publication through repositories, libraries, or personal websites, provided that:

  • the URL of the published article is deposited alongside the PDF version; and

  • the journal name and full citation details are clearly stated.

DIGITAL ARCHIVING AND PRESERVATION

To ensure long-term digital preservation of all published scholarly content, Jurnal Humaniora Universal Indonesia (Universal Humanities Journal) implements digital archiving and preservation strategies in accordance with recognized open access standards.

The journal ensures that its content and metadata are compatible with well-known repository and archiving services, allowing digital crawlers and preservation systems to regularly collect and store published records. Where applicable, journal content and metadata may be submitted to trusted preservation networks such as LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), and institutional repositories.

These preservation mechanisms are intended to ensure that published scholarly content remains secure, accessible, and available to the academic community, even in the event of journal discontinuation or accidental data loss.
